News (22.03.08) - ...and you all thought that we were dead! ...well, we're far from it. we're just using the time to create even more awesome songs for you to listen to! We are going about it with the attitude that it is better to spend a bit more time if the end result is better. So you're gonna have to wait a bit more more, but if you show up at the next show (whenever it'll be), you'll see why it took so long! The new songs are still downEdge, but at the same time they are so much more, and so much better! So stay tuned and be aware, cuz we are still very much alive and kicking!

News (09.01.07) - We have been quiet about what is happening in downEdge for a long time now, but that doesn't mean that we've been iddle! The tour in Norway went very well, a big thx to the Imprint guys! At the moment we are working on new material, so stay tuned.
News (20.10.06) - We haven't updated the website for a long time, but here goes: downEdge are going to Norway to play a mini-tour with Imprint, called: "URBAN ASSAULT vol. Norway". The first gig is at "Checkpoint Charlie" in Stavanger, the 8th of November. The second concert is at "Amp Assosiation" in Kristiansand, the 10th of November and the last concert is at "Garage" in Oslo the 11th of November. So come check out downEdge and Imprint tearing through your brain and breaking your neck!

News (10.01.06) - downEdge are going to record 1-2 songs in febuary for the forthcoming demo (yet untitled), which will hopefully be available in March. We also have plans to do a couple of shows in March with PALT and Imprint (so far it's going to be in Slagelse and Roskilde) and we are also working on a tour in Denmark and Germany in May with K[nine]. We can't wait to get out there and show you our new stuff and our new drummer!

News (18.12.05) - downEdge has a new drummer! Sebastian Fernblad is now officially the fourth member of downEdge, and we are looking forward to showing all of you what he can do behind the drums, it is simply amazing! We are finishing the new demo in Febuary with Sebastian on drums on two of the songs, so stay tuned!

News (23.10.05) - We are back from Norway, and what an awesome experience it has been! We have recorded a new demo, featuring two songs (let it go & One Less) and we played a gig at Tribute, Sandnes. We recorded in Valhalla Studios with Ragnar (Escaptor) who is an amazing person and producer. The recording went great and the songs kick so much ass. The concert was, despite a certain lack of tightness a great experience and our old and new Norwegian friends really backed us up and made the night memorable, and our co-band K[nine] are wicked, they blew us away in the best possible way! We have also gotten reviews on "Human Lost", these can be seen in the Reviews Section.
News (13.10.05) - Puto Diablo joins the URBAN ASSAULT concert at "the Rock" in Copenhagen, November 3rd. The show starts at 21:00 so don't be late or you will miss some awesome performances!

News (04.10.05) - The 1st concert on the URBAN ASSAULT mini tour '05 has been booked. Check the concert section for details. For the URBAN ASSAULT mini tour our good friend Kevin Rørgren (ex-No Offence) will be behind the drums, since he has been kind enough to help us out here in our time of need, so a big thx to him!
News (27.09.05) - Alison has told us that she is leaving the band after our tour to Norway. During her trip to England she has realized that her dream is not downEdge anymore and that she wants to pursue other goals. We are of course very sad to see her go, but we all know that this is the right choice for her and we wish her all the best! downEdge is therefore looking for a new drummer! News (12.09.05) - Alison is back from her respite in the UK today, which means that we can really get cracking again! We have sent "Human Lost" to be reviewed by a lot of webzines and various magazines (both Danish and foreign) and we will link to these as soon as the reviews start coming in.
News (09.09.05) - We are working on giving this page a new look... as you can tell! It is obviously inspired by what Racebabe made for us, and a big thx to her for the inspiration. It will take some time before the new look is fully integrated, so until then you'll have to settle for this weird combination of old and new stuff. We are going to record a new demo when we are in Norway, which is this october! Which songs, what the cover-art is going to be like and so on is yet to be decided, but rest assured this is going to be something far beyond what you have seen from downEdge so far!
News (01.09.05) - It has been a while since there has been any news, because most of the band has been "in absentia" in august, but now 3/4 are back in DK and we can get kickin' again! We have confirmation on the first gig on the Norway-tour, and it is going to be the 21st of october 2005, we are still working on more gigs up there, so stay sharp for more updates! News (23.07.05) - We have received some amazing fanart from people during this last week. We have chosen to put one made by Racebabe as our topframe-pic, because it's simply awesome! News (23.07.05) - We are working on a message board/guestbook for the website. We have uploaded some old pictures from a recording session we had in 2003(?) in the chilling section and some new (old) promo pics. BTW Please feel free to send us Fanart (pics, drawings, whatever) if you have soome cool stuff you want to show us (and everybody else)!
News (22.07.05) - There are some new pictures in the Live pics-section from our concert at Islands Brygge Kulturhus with Mansion State (2004) and we have received our first FANART which means that we have made a new section in the Visuals Section, check it out!
News (09.06.05) - The history section has been updated as well as various details here and there. We are working on 3-4 new songs, which will be recorded in the fall of 2005. These songs were played at the Motorship festival and got a great crowd-reaction, so we are looking forward to getting them recorded and thrown in peoples faces.

News (30.05.05) - This is what is happening at the moment: We just did the Motorship Metal Festival, where there were actually more people watching us than the act doing the main-stage at the same time, which was pretty cool, even though we were far from pleased with our performance (which was probably due to the fact that most of the set consisted of new songs)! Alison is going to Bath - England for three months, but fear not, the downEdge camp will not be idle! Alison is working on a gig over there for us (watch out England, here we come!!), Carsten and Chris have a lot of stuff going on with Evil Inc., which obviously includes downEdge, and we are all working on the tour to Norway (with the help of our friends in Imprint), and we are looking into doing some video stuff! So stay tuned to more updates through the summer!

News (28.04.05) - This has been the start of something great for downEdge. Before I start chanting, I would like to thank all the people who showed up at ”the rock” and all you crazy headbanging and jumping fuckers! downEdge has made new friends and has been involved in a good thing for the danish underground metal scene. Hopefully this isn't the last metal marathon. I had my doubts if there would be lots of people from the start of the show, but when the the curtain was pulled, the night's first band, Palt, was met with a crazy crowd that lusted for metal. I'm glad you guys (Palt) could come, and btw now we know that the 5 errors on the stage is Tue(Drummer in Palt)! I'm happy to finally have had the chance to hear A soft blow to the temple, as Chris has been chanting about them for ages. I was impressed by the way they managed to create a gloomy atmosphere with a sound as heavy as theirs. downEdge played a show that is among the best that we have ever done. A very special thanks to the Imprint boys for driving 14 hours to be a part of the very first metal marathon. You smashed the place up, and the people loved you. We will see you in norway where we will ”smadre jeres nakker”! Carsten.
News (23.04.05) - For those of you who weren't at "the Metal Marathon" last night: You missed the most awesome Metal Event of all time! 4 kick-ass bands, 400 crazy fans and 4000 litres of beer (probably), this is what a show should be like! News (12.04.05) - A little correction/reminder, in some places on the web it is written that Visual Block will play at "the Metal Marathon" april 22nd, this is not the case... they had to say no and were replaced by PALT. The members section has been updated and new live pics have been added.

News (08.03.05) - Evil Inc. has been born! Evil Inc. is an Event Team consisting of Carsten and Chris. Our project is to promote and further the danish underground metal scene to the danish public, by making concerts/events around the country. News (03.02.05) - After two awesome concerts at "the Rock" (a big thanks to Visual Block and Palt) and "Stengade 30" (Whelm! You guys rule...) downEdge are ready for more and bigger things. The demo "Human Lost" is now available for purchase, though only at the shows or if you contact us. We are currently working on a concert in Norway and several concerts in Denmark. We have made some updates to the page and added a new wallpaper.
News (15.12.04) - downEdge are going to play at "the Rock" in Copenhagen the 27th of january, 2005 [details] and are also scheduled to play at Emergenza 2005 [details]. New wallpapers have also been added to the site.
News (02.12.04) - Two wallpapers have been added to the visuals area! The wallpapers are only available in 1024x768 resolution so far, but we are working on making them available in various sizes and creating new ones. We are, at the moment, looking into getting some people to remix the tracks from the upcoming demo "Human Lost", if you are interested in helping us with this, or would like to give it a go yourself, please contact us at theband@downedge.dk
